Packing Peanut Pendant
This was commissioned for a Recycled Light Fixture show at an art gallery in the Cedars. A cylinder of galvanized steel hardware cloth holds an array of foam packing peanuts. 1-gallon polyethylene jugs, with their tops cut off, keep the peanuts in place.

Chrome Oxide Pendant
This paper pendant hangs over the Dining Table at the Chrome Oxide Addition in east Dallas. Commissioned by the Architect and fabricated by Jamie Wallace. A similar pendant hangs over the Breakfast Table at the House in the Country.

Southlake Guest Bath
As part of the Guest Bath renovation, I fabricated and installed a blue acrylic 3-Form panel to keep water away from the existing window while allowing light into the room and maintaining privacy. There is a small gap between the wall and the panel to allow any water that does get back there to evaporate.

Maple and Steel Bookshelf
This prototype explores two different ways to make a shelf: by folding expanded steel mesh and by repeating a series of drawers. The dovetails were all cut by hand and the pulls are simply bent steel bar.

Cherry Standing Desk
Commissioned by a gallery director as a place to pay bills, this piece was intentionally built in two phases. The legs and side-panels were built with typical woodshop power tools whereas the drawers and interior box were made exclusively with hand tools at Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass, Colorado. The drawer pulls are laminated cherry veneer made in curved formwork.

Artifact Display Cabinet
Commissioned by Elinor Evans, Artist and Architecture Professor at Rice University, this small cabinet was designed to display some of the extraordinary objects she has made or collected over her long life. She recently passed away at the age of 102.
