About US

Marc McCollom AIA designs quiet Modern Architecture that thoughtfully balances the Art of Living with the Science of Construction. Every design is a uniquely creative resolution to the multiple parameters presented by that specific project.

Because Architecture is meant to be lived in, not just looked at, he is intentionally focused on the experience of moving through and inhabiting the spaces he designs. He carefully composes forms and materials in response to the program, the landscape, and the changing seasons. Because he understands construction, he knows how to get the parts to come together with what seems like effortless simplicity. He works closely with each Client to maximize the architectural potential of their project, addressing both the tangible and the intangible, the spoken and the unspoken. He strives to build something with a substantial beauty, something that is worth the effort we have all put into it.

Before starting his own firm, Marc was privileged to have worked with two of Dallas’ most important Architects – Max Levy, FAIA and Frank Welch, FAIA. Marc has a Master of Architecture from UT-Arlington and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Sculpture from Rice University.
