70′_^s modern renovation

The complete interior renovation of a late 70’s modern house in far north Dallas. The original house had a strong exterior but inside was a rambling conglomeration of rooms. The main design idea was to clean up and organize the plan, bringing clarity and hierarchy to the spaces using modest interventions of special materials and appropriately scaled formal additions.
